Dying my hair, how do I proceed?
-
Put your hair dye apron or towel on, if you don’t have one then you can use an old t-shirt to protect your clothing.
-
Put the hair dye in the mixing tray.
-
Divide your hair in four sections and secure them with the hair clamps. Do this by parting your hair from the middle of your hairline at your forehead to the middle of your hairline at the neck. Divide each of these two sections into two separate sections. This way you can work fast and clean.
-
Put on the hair dye gloves and take a section of hair that’s around 2 centimeters thick, work your way up from your neck to the top of your head. So you start with the lowest sections in the back of your hair. Make sure that you divide the dye through your hair well to prevent your hair from turning out blotchy. If you have trouble coloring the back of your hair you can ask someone else to do it.
-
When you have dyed the lowest sections you can start coloring the two sections above that in the same manner.
-
Please look on the package of the hair dye that you’re using to see how long you have to leave the hair dye in your hair. When you saturated your hair with the dye completely it’s time to put on the plastic (shower) cap. Leave the hair dye in your hair for as long as the instructions on your hair dye recommend, then rinse your hair thoroughly.
